We are a small company of artist blacksmiths based in York, England supplying a
superior material to fellow professional blacksmiths and amateurs alike. |
It was our own quest for
the perfect forging material which led us to discover pure iron. Having
found it we could not keep it to ourselves and decided to set up a business
stocking and supplying pure iron to anyone who can make use of it.
 We
have some of our iron rolled at Blists Hill Ironworks which is part of the Ironbridge
Gorge Museum. Here the iron is rolled by traditional steam driven rolling
mills by skilled staff in Victorian costume. The rolling demonstrations
are part of the working life of the museum and pureiron.com is proud to be
working in partnership with the museum to provide this important opportunity for
the public to witness traditional rolling methods first hand.
We also have our pure iron
commercially rolled in a selection of different sizes including square, flat and
round.
